Since the late 80s Teseq & formerly Schaffner have sold over 10’000 ESD simulators in 5 generations. The 10’000th unit has been sold to EMC Kashima (President Mr. Masaru Nakayama), a leading EMC and safety lab in Japan. EMC Kashima, located in Chiba near Tokyo, has been a leader in EMC testing for ITE, industrial, scientific, medical equipment, automotive components and so on, since it was founded in 1991. EMC Kashima was already using many Teseq Test Equipment generators including several conducted automotive systems and ESD guns and they purchased an additional NSG 438 ESD simulator towards the end of last year, which turned out to be the 10,000th unit delivered.
